Metargem & Partners was born from a family passion for languages and technology. In 1987, Denis Supersac joined SAP Germany as a translator, spending five years localizing one of the world's first ERP systems into French. That experience — sitting at the intersection of language, software and global business — shaped everything that followed. In 1995, he founded Software Translations to serve the growing demand for specialized technical translation. A decade later, 001 Translations launched in the United States to bring certified, multilingual services to a broader international market.
What makes this group different is where it comes from. Denis and his wife Isabelle — a linguist by training — have lived and worked across France, Germany, Scotland, Kenya, Djibouti, Vietnam, Louisiana, New Jersey, Israel, Portugal and Cyprus. That's not a corporate diversity statement. It's a lived understanding of how language, culture and context shape communication in ways that no glossary can capture. Their children grew up the same way — across four countries — and each joined the business, bringing modern skills to a foundation built on genuine multicultural experience.
Over the decades, the group built a track record working with some of the world's most demanding organizations — Total, Shell, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, L'Oréal, Procter & Gamble and many others — on projects where precision, confidentiality and cultural accuracy were non-negotiable.
Today, Software Translations and 001 Translations are no longer two separate businesses — they are one. United under the Metargem & Partners group, they bring together 30 years of technical and certified translation expertise into a single integrated offer spanning 15 countries, 70+ languages, and every major document type from legal and medical to software and marketing.
